What do I need to do to run a fundraising fire walking event?

Choose a charity of your choice, who will benefit from firewalking events.

Decide if you have a suitable area to host a charity firewalk. Outside space (carpark or garden) and inside area to do the training (Ideally a room, where people can listen and concentrate). The outside area should be around 10m x 15m (A picture of the area or we can look at Google maps to see if the area is suitable).

Let us know what date you want, and we will send you a marketing pack with posters and sponsorship forms to help promote your firewalking event.

A fully insured team with a certified firewalk Instructor and all materials required to run your event, will arrive on the day.

The firewalkers will be trained and then taken out to walk over the hot coals.

After completion the walkers will be given certificates and the area will be cleared.

What do you receive for fundraising events ?

All materials (Wood, Turf, etc) staffing and travel are included.

You will receive posters and sponsorship forms, to promote your charity firewalk. We will also help by advertising your event on our social media channels.

Each team has £5 million Public Liability Insurance covering the firewalking event.

We will also advise on the best ways to ensure that you raise the most sponsorship possible for your charity firewalk event.

The Fundraising Firewalk Association have run events all over the UK and some events have raised over £10,000. We have the safety of the walkers as our priority and want everyone to have a fun time. There is always a risk of a blister when fire walking, however if there was no risk, where is the achievement when walking on fire!
